Hiya can I have a post please? My 2 year old has impetigo and has been prescribed antibiotics 4 times a day for 7 days aswell as an ointment. The first antibiotics he had made him projectile vomit so I took him back to the drs and got a different one this morning. The new antibiotic obviously doesn’t taste nice because it’s a huge fight to get any in him & once I get the tiniest bit in he makes himself sick! It’s so distressing for both of us does anyone have any tips on how to get him to take it?
I’ve tried bribing him with chocolate/sweets & having a drink of juice ready to wash the taste away!
The new antibiotics can be diluted so I tried them in his juice but he could still taste them and wouldn’t even drink his juice which is not like him at all!
