Just looking for others opinions on a situation from christmas day..A bit long, sorry..
Few days bedore xmas i spent an hour online choosing the right gifts for his side of the family whilst he was at work and i also paid some of the cost towards them..
Xmas day I drove 2 hours to my partners mums house (im 37weeks pregnant) with my partner, 2 kids and my mum to spend the day with his mum ,sister and her BF.. We handed over gifts and everyone had one other than me, even the unborn baby got a present.. I just sat there without anything or without even a thank you!!
Am i just being hormonal to be a little upset by this.? We have been together 4 years now and im about to give them their first grandchild (2 boys are mine from previous).. My partner couldnt see my point in me feeling a bit upset by this..He just said it must be because theres a baby she has to buy for now so thata my present 😐.. My mum still him one and the baby and children..Its not i give to receive but i just felt left out and i went to all that effect..
