Private post please if you aren’t too busy! I’m due to have my second baby any day now. I already have a 5 year old and it was all arranged that my mum was going to look after her when me and my partner go in to hospital to have the baby. So the past 2 weekends and days through the week my mum has been drinking, and not just 1 drink, it’s been like a full bottle of wine. I’m really not comfortable leaving my daughter in her care whilst I go in to hospital if she can’t seem to stay sober! I told her all this yesterday but apparantly I’m being ridiculous she is still capable of looking after her even if she has been drinking. What’s everyone’s throughs on this? She has had me so stressed about it and the fact that she can’t see where I’m coming from has made me think maybe I’m overreacting even though it really is making me uncomfortable x
