Advice on stubborn child please!
My just turned 4 year old is extremely hard headed, I’ve done the naughty spot/sticker charts/confiscation of toys etc in the past but nothing seems to phase him.
I can put him in the naughty spot and he will still be there crying hours later, whether it be because he won’t do something I’ve asked or apologise etc, and it’s getting to the point I have to give in cause it’s making us late for the likes of nursery or meeting people at certain times. Then at weekends we end up not doing anything cause of it and by nighttime I get depressed over my son having a rubbish weekend so it’s easier to just give in after 50 minutes or so.
Just generally looking for advice on how to deal with this cause it’s really bringing me down 😩

Stop punishing him and heavily praise and reward positive behaviours. Some kids just don’t respond to that style of discipline.
The fact hour giving in says it all don’t give in decide what your gonna do and stick to it even when shopping etc I saT in asda for 3 hours before to prove to my son I wasn’t backing down it works but you have to keep going with it
And like lisa said lots of praise for the good stuff as well to make them want to do the good stuff xx
