Advice only please
I have a 13 year old daughter. Her father and myself split when she was 2.
The issue I’m having is child support.
Around 5 years ago my case went to court as he owes me approximately £7000 in arrears. The judge made the debt a legalised debt meaning its recognised and will never go away. He has a year to contest it which he never did. He won’t get a job as he knows he’ll have to pay he does window cleaning and delivery pizzas etc basically cash in hand work. Debt collectors go around to his house and call him he ignores everything.
Since the CSA have switched to the CMA I’m apparently entitled to nothing from him.
My question is how do I go about claiming the £7000 arrears?? Do I take him to court privately? If so what proof do I need to obtain to show the court?
I’m at a loss on what to do?
I’m beyond angry 😡
I feel for my daughter. To top it off she said to me recently dad likes his jobs as he can still get his benefits… why say that to a child. I’ll be reporting that Monday let me tell you. Why should myself and my partner struggle and he gets away with f**k all
Advice and yours stories are very much welcome and thank you for taking the time out to read x
