After a PP if poss please.
My son is 4 and has been diagnosed with acute phimosis (very very tight foreskin) his foreskon cannot be pulled back at all as there is only a pin hole basically! Hes under a urologist and they are keen to circumcise him! I have done loads of research and a lot of people are saying that this problem can resolve itself as he gets older! He doesnt suffer with urine infections and the problem currently doesn’t cause him any discomfort whatsoever! We’ve been given steroid cream to try and encourage the skin to stretch and we r back at the specialist in september! Im just on two minds about circumcision part of me thinks get it done while hea young and the other half is saying its bot causing an issue at the moment wait it out and see what happens!!!! Just wondered what peoples views are or if any similar experiences!! Im completely torn!!! He also had his tonsils out last month so dreading another surgery lol poor boy!!! Thankyou

My sons was the same his nearly 7 an he can pull it back had no infections since he was 6 months old they said he wouldn’t stop getting them i couldnt let anyone mess with his private parts leave him to make that choice later on in life x
My son is 11 and still can’t pull it back, it’s not causing him any pain and he’s not getting infection so the hospital have said they are happy to leave it another year and see if it fixes itself with puberty, they said they could give him the cream but said as soon as we stop using the cream it would go tight again x
Try the cream first and let him play with it! My boys always do their exercises in bath, pull skin forward as far as they can and back as far as they can. Water softens it. They will only do whats comfortable to them.
My advice…… Get it done ASAP. My done was 12when he had his done and it wasn’t nice. If they are wanting it done just get it done. My sons was left to long and needed work all down his water works..
