Hi could I have a post please..
Just looking for some advice from anyone who have had a prem baby. Had my baby 4 weeks early induced. Just wondering if anyone’s baby’s experienced a delay in devolpment? Health visitor told me as baby was early they could be slightly slow with reaching milestones like smiling etc. Not my first baby but my other child was born on her due date. Thanks

  • One of my sons was induced at 37 weeks due to having very little fluid around baby. Was sent home same day but when midwife came to home visit on day 2 he was rushed straight back to hospital… he wasnt maintining his temperature, hadnt learnt how to suckle yet due to being early so wasnt feeding and his jaundice was off the scale. He was in for just over a week and cane home a totally different baby. As far as meeting milestones… i relly wouldnt worry as all babies are different… i had a walker at 10 months yet my other son was about 18months when he started and i went 10 days over with both eldest boys. You know your baby best x
