I’m at my wits end with this.
My daughter and me lived at my mothers the first 2 years of her life, she sees her dad every weekend it’s been that way since birth.
My family constantly criticise my parenting and make me feel like a terrible mother, so I never ask them for anything.
I’ve been with my now partner for nearly 5 years he’s raised my daughter and given her everything, we’ve had 2 more children and she has gotten into the habit for a long time now of being so badly behaved and yet when I ask her dad he says she’s golden. I’ve had complaints from her school about her behaviour too, she literally acts as if she hates my partner even when he tries hard to ignore it. Our other 2 children aren’t like this yet we treat them and teach them all the same.
The entire time she’s at ours all week it’s almost as if she goes out of her way to cause trouble, it’s as if she hates living here yet we have asked her if she’d rather live with her dad (which breaks my heart) yet she says no and insists on living with us. My mum put her two pence in and said it’s because she has siblings… but she cannot be the only child who has siblings. I just don’t know what to do, it feels as though she hates us all and never wants to be around us and will constantly start at school. I just don’t know what to do anymore.
