  • I’m 3 weeks tomorrow since my section my scar got infected it was weeping s yellow gunk and bleeding. I wouldn’t say that was infected but I’d keep an eye on it. And get yourself too the doctors if you think it’s changed any. I’ve been back and forward for over a week getting mine sorted. Also make sure your not over doing it. You have too be kind too yourself your body has been through a major op. X

  • looks like it’s healing. keep it dry don’t use creams on it etc make sure to wash it gently too. a mild salt water might help. IF it’s hot or painful a trip to the Dr’s is worth it. I has 2 infections in mine and needed antibiotics so get checked if your worried

  • I had an infection in mine. It was leaking really bad had to change my pad every 15 minutes, if you feel like you have an infection look after yourself and keep it as dry as you can cos wetting it will make it soggy. It doesn’t look infected but keep an eye out x

  • Doesn’t look infected, mine was weeping when it was infected, doesn’t look inflamed or red around where its healing, just keep it dry and try let air get to it as much as you can 😊

  • Mine went like this, make sure you pat it dry and air it as much as possible to avoid infection. If you notice it start to smell then could be start of infection.

  • It looks a bit infected if I’m honest, is it oozing or anything? I had a little infection and it looked like yours. Try keep it dry and when you wash dab around it with warm water and cotton wool xx

  • Have salt baths and pat dry and if it becomes moist put a sanitary towel where ur scar is to keep it dry. I’ve had 3 c sections and swear by salt baths 👌

  • I was very lucky with mine had no problems and healed very quickly I would just do what my midwife said don’t actually sit in the bath splash it wet and pat it dry and always let the air get to it never have it covered always have your trousers below the scar xx

  • Keep it nice and dry air it if able to… but if it’s hot to touch, more sore than usual, wheepy, smelly get it looked at again. Warm boiled water to wash it with should help. X
