Can I get a post please…

I have a 9 month old and these last few days he keeps pushing up his shoulder towards his ear and has been very moany and unhappy! He’s also not been sleeping very much which isn’t like him. He look as though he’s cutting a tooth at the side where he is pulling his shoulder up to his ear. I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if it was toothing or if it could be an ear infection or something else. Thanks
