Can i have a post please?
I have a 2 year old son from a previous relationship, his father hadnt seen him until 3 weeks after his second birthday (his own choice, i tried everything possible to set up contact) the first couple of visits went okay, then i noticed everytime since then he has smelled off weed. I messaged him to bring the matter up with him and he got his mother to message me back saying he doesnt take anything. My son has never been exposed to anyone who takes drugs and has drugs in their system while seeing him and i dont want that to start now. My issue is i have a lawyer who is setting things out in writting for the terms of contact and making sure we agree, i feel like i should raise my concerns with my lawyer about him taking drugs before seeing my son as when i tried to raise my concerns with him i got no response. I am concerned about my sons safety when around him now and just want to do whats best for my son.
