So I’m on my 4th pregnancy. The first 2 pregnancies were fine and my births were fine. So when it came to my 3rd all the basic checks were done. Everything was fine until late pregnancy from 37 weeks I had reduced movements they kept an eye and sent me home and at 39 weeks I went in with reduced movement to no even be strapped to the machine as they struggled to find his heartbeat so I was red lighted to have a emergency c section. He was born everything was okay just took him abit longer to cry then they hoped for. Now my question is will anything be different in this pregnancy midwife wise? Will I get anymore checks or will they just leave it to see if I have and reduced movements. Will they let me go past my due date? I’m just so scared of loosing this baby as they said it was really lucky I’m came in when I did as if I had left it any longer then he might not be here today 😭. Anyone been through anything simular ? Tia xx

I had reduced movements with my first and was admitted a few times because of this. When I was pregnant with my second I didn’t get any more checks than my first pregnancy. I was high risk second time round but not due to reduced movement. Xx
I would assume that as it was your most recent pregnancy they will monitor you more closely & may suggest extra checks as you near the final trimester
I’m pretty sure they’ll keep an eye on you especially if you raise your concerns with them x
they should keep a closer eye on u due to prior circumstances xx
The likelihood is you will be seen as a high risk pregnancy and will have more monitoring than a low risk pregnancy xx
Probably more checks to be sure everything stays ‘normal’ and to put you at ease xx
