Sorry it’s a long..but please someone help 😔😔
My little boy has just turned 18 months.
In the first year of his life he’s witnessed a lot of violence between me and his dad. We’ve been away for a few months now and it’s just the 2 of us.
He’s started hitting,kicking,head butting me etc.
Last week I had to call my mum crying because I couldn’t take him hitting me and pulling my hair anymore😭
He pinches me to the point my arms bleed because he refuses to let go, or he’s biting chunks out of me.
I mentioned it to my health visitor and she said
“it’s normal,it’s an age thing”
But I’m literally at my wits end of blaming myself and feeling like a complete failure for staying in an abusive relationship with his dad until I gained courage to get away.
I’ve tried putting him in his bedroom when he does it, but he’s not bothered. Is there anything I can do? Any advice would go greatly appreciated and Thankyou for reading ❤️
