Can I have a pp please? I think it’s support more than advice that I need. My head hurts just thinking about it.. So this weekend my partner was physically violent to me in front of the children. He has been violent in the past but this is the 1st time in front of the kids. It was only some pushing and shoving and headlocked me until I fell on the floor, (I know alot other people get it alot worse) he then started waving a kitchen knife around. I rang the police and by the time the police got there he had gone out. (I haven’t heard from him since) They just took a statement from me and said I’d get a call from people who help with domestic violence. I know what he did was wrong. Especially because it was in front of the children. It’s not the 1st time he has hurt me either and I know the best thing I could do is leave. I just have so many emotions right now. I actually feel guilty incase he gets in trouble. I’m so scared of change. I’m scared of coping financially. I’m scared in the long run I’ll never get a decent life for me and my children. Just some nice comments and support would be grateful please.
