Can I have a pp please.
I’m trying to get my daughter onto normal milk instead of the formula as she is 1 in a few weeks, any tips/advice of how to wean her onto it?

We introduced cows milk with his breakfast and gave him a little bit in his cup during the day and then changed over completely. We did it gradually as he had a bit of a runny tum to start with. He was fine after that 🙂
My boy was 1 2 weeks ago and im struggling to ge gags off cows milk so kept him on aptimal number 2 but really want to stop it as its so expensive! Im gunna try again and hope for the best🙈
My little girl took to it straight away but you could try giving her formula then give her normal then back to formula see if that helps just alternate it… if she’s only having milk at night then try tonight with normal see how she goes
I just done a straight swap but some people say to take an ounce of formula away n add an ounce of cows milk n gradually reduce the formula until it’s just cows milk x
Yes do it gradually by replacing 1 oz, then 2, (you can mix them together) until she’s fully swapped. Do it every couple of days and she will never notice 😉
Try it in breakfast first see how he is then do night bottle in whole milk morning in formula and wean him off after a few days. Mine too straight away
My lg is 14 months on nutramigen 2 been trying to wean her off she can tell the difference if I mix it I’ve tried lactose free milk heaves refuses tried normal milk refused it I’ve even tried wysol milk mixing it just have to keep trying :-/
I’m doing the same at the minute, she has 7oz bottle for bed and her afternoon nap…i started by putting 5oz formula and 2oz cows milk and every 5-7 days I up the cows milk and lower the formula, she’s not known any difference yet so I would advise doing it that way 🙂 good luck x
I just gave my son a warm bottle of cows milk for bed and he drank it all and then in the morning so I carried on from there it didn’t bother him what’s so ever x
I just gave him a bottle of normal milk and he took to it straight away.
If she’s struggling with the taste you could try half and half..
We done it gradually, mixing whole milk into formula as giving him whole milk on its own gave him a sore tummy and loads of gas. Carried on doing that for a few weeks gradually putting in less formula till he was only drinking whole milk. x
We just switched. No weaning. No problems for us.
