Can i have a pp please (just as haven’t announced pregnancy to my whole fb yet lol)
I’m 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I started feeling baby’s tiny movements around 15 weeks (3rd baby so i knew for sure it wasn’t just gas anymore haha) by the time I was 16 weeks I wasn’t feeling anything anymore. I went for early gender scan and I’m having alittle boy 🙂 they told me I had a anterior placenta (placenta is at the front) and that it may probably mean I wouldn’t feel movements now till alittle later in pregnancy 🖓 will/can the placenta move? or will it always be infront? Will it make it harder to monitor movements as baby grows? Obviously didnt have this with other 2 preganancys, trying to look it up but not finding any helpful info really. t.i.a xx

  • I have the same with my placenta and I didn’t feel movements until 20+ weeks I’m 39weeks now and I have felt her everyday. Some days it wasn’t as strong as others. It made it harder to hear her heart beat tho when I go for appointments as they always start at the front. Not sure if it can move tho mine hasn’t. X

  • Both pregnancies my placenta was at the front. It stayed there throughout and never moved. It shouldnt cause any difficulty except the movement being harder to feel. Its if it is low there can be issues, no problem at the front. Monitoring not a problem by trained staff xx
