Can I have a pp please my husband and I got together 9 year ago he was a heavy drinker at the time but a lovely man who made me feel ontop of the world the drinking went on and he started to scare me when he had drank so I came to the point he could choose me or drink he had no real family around and what he did were also heavy drinkers anyways he gave up the drink we got married had a lovely time I let him drink occasionally and in moderation this is fine 😊 he’s good with me and my 2 kids nothing is his everything we have is classed as ‘ours’ he provides for us anyways long story short his family dislike me and I think they think I control him and to some respect I think yes I do but it’s for the safety of me and my children he can be aggressive on alcohol and this is one of the things I have spoke to him about its not a risk im willing to take his side don’t bother with our children and try to blame it on me but I know deep down it’s that they have no interest in our children and also that when he was at his worst none of them wanted to know him it’s only since I picked him up they do as he benefits them now but had nothing to offer them when he was down my question is am I in the rong for giving him the choice alcohol or our family ?
