Can I have a pp please. Not really baby related.

So I left work for maternity leave on Friday, by Monday morning my boss had messaged me asking for my uniform back to give to someone else and has removed me from work group chats on whatsapp.
I’m really confused as to why I’m being pushed out of work? I’m on maternity I haven’t left the company. Also the day I was leaving one of the children (I’m a after school assistant) asked if I was coming back, my boss said ‘we will see if she wants to’ like she wasn’t even bothered.
Anyone else had something like this?
Should I say something to my boss?
