Can I have a pp please?
Hi mums, I’m currently 35+5 weeks and I had a growth scan today which confirmed that my baby is still in the flexed breech position, so my consultant has recommended I have a c-section at 39 weeks. I’m a big girl hence the monthly growth scans, she said they wouldn’t even try to turn him as it would be impossible to do. I’m worried about the whole thing but mostly how the recovery after the section will go, my tummy does ‘overhang’ some what 😳 so I’m after some info or advice from ladies who have been in a similar situation, how long did it take to heal? What could you and what couldn’t you do afterwards? Did you get an infection? I’m frightened about the whole thing having never had a section before so any insight would be greatly appreciated, including what to expect on the day, I’m 28 and a second time mum, first was a normal delivery. Thanks x
