Can I have a pp please

Just looking for advice from anyone who has had to do the same to make sure I get it right.

My lg’s dad isn’t on her birth certificate. Only reason was due to him not being able to get off work and we had always said would add later. Fast forward almost 2 years (family illness kinda put it to the back of the pile) and we are now getting this updated. I have a form for him to fill out that I have to take with me to the re-registering app and a form I have to fill infront of the registrar.

Thing is there’s no other information. I’m presuming I will have to take the old bc and I’D? But no idea and tbh the folk at the registrar place didn’t have a clue and could tell by their looks they were judging. I’m in Scotland btw as online have seen there are differences in procedures
