my parteners mum just lives 5 mins over the road from us I know she can’t drive but I have a 2 year old and another on the way but what bugs me atm is everytime I visit I get a grilling because it’s not every week and she comes out with things to my child say granny loves seeing you when yous bother to come. but the thing is she is able to visit family further away but has been in our home 3 times in 4 years. and now when baby is born it’s going to be the same that I’ll have to pack up 2 kids and visit her. Am I being selfish in thinking it shouldn’t be me that does all the running so she can see her grandkids now my parents live half hour away and alway visit at least 1-2 a fortnight and when baby comes she’ll come to the hospital to see him/her but after that it won’t be until I’m well enough to take baby to her… what does everyone think it’s just bugging me now I just want to stop going to hers altogether to stop the sarcastic comments towards me…
