Can I have a ppp?

Basically I am 26 days postnatal, my son is 4 weeks on Friday. I went to the GP yesterday about going on the mini pill and he agreed as I have been sexually active for a week with my partner, I also went to get the morning after pill as the condom split Monday night, he put me on cerazette. My son was born prematurely, I was express breast feeding for 2 weeks roughly. Me and my partner got carried away today and had unprotected sex he finished inside. I took the morning after pill yesterday and my contraceptive pill, and also my contraceptive pill today do you think I should be ok? I’m a little worried… don’t want anymore babies yet. no bashing please. Heat of the moment!

  • The pill doesn’t get in your system for a week I think but it could be longer I can’t remember exactly but if you’ve only been taking it a day it definitely wouldn’t be in your system yet x

  • I was told when I went on the pill it’s best to take it the first day of my period, or take if straight away but it won’t work for 2 weeks. X

  • When I started cerezzte a few months ago I was told u wasn’t covered for 2 weeks. I’m led to believe the morning after pill is as the name states after the incident so you may well need to go get it again
