Can i have views on social services please.

i have been told today that i should call them and self refer myself not due to not being able to cope ect but due to have 2 disabled childern and not getting the support and advice that is needed.. so to self refer so they can put me in the right place for this.. i have onky heard bad things about social and really dont want involved if it is going to make me be judged and labeled when not needed to be…
