Don’t really know where to start, I’ve recently split with my ex we have a 1 year old together …. we had a great relationship until last year when he got extremely drunk & I caught him about to cheat on me with the girl next door we argued about it & gave me 2 black eyes. I buried it for so long & tried to make it work for the sake of my family but I feel it has just made me numb I can’t feel anything because I didn’t deal with it properly ….. we have split my decision but he is constantly begging for another chance, saying he’ll change says he loves me constantly crying to me & tells me he’ll beat up anyone I date …. I’m so confused do I give in & try or do I ignore it & eventually hope it will get better ?

You’ve done the right thing, he gave you 2 black eyes because he was about to cheat and didn’t like the fact you had caught him out. If this women is a neighbour at a you sure he has gone sneaking around before or after this incident. You can not trust him again, what happens next time you have a blazing row, broken bones????
He’s using emotional blackmail to get you back, what a coward!!! He loves you and won’t beat you up but has threatening violence !!!!
You would need eyes in the back of your head as well as plenty of ice packs in the freezer if you do take him back oh and police/ ambulance on speed dial
