Can I have a PPP , having a bit of a tough time with my baby and really need some advice! My sons 5 weeks old, 2 weeks ago he became really unsettled, kept being sick and screamed constantly as if in pain! Thought this was colic so tried infacol and winding him throughout feeds but things seemed to get worse! Ended up in hospital with him as he also developed a rash over his face and chest! Hospital said rash was baby acne but said he had bad reflux so started him on ranitidine! This made no difference so took him to the doctors to see what else I could do and doctor told me to stop ranitidine and prescribed Aptamil Pepti 1 , my son is completely refusing this milk so is constantly starving and screams even more! 😢 things got so bad last night I ended up giving him a bottle of his normal milk which he drank right down , winded no problem then slept the full night and is like a different baby today!!!! Health visitor said she can’t take too much to do with formulas as breastfeeding is better (I done this at start) … I really don’t know what to do and I’m getting in a state myself now worrying about him! And to make things worse I have my in laws telling me I’m not doing enough to help my baby 😔
