Can I have a PPP.
I split with my kids dad 4 years ago and moved 400miles away (to be with family) we had years of drama and court and now he doesn’t see them at all last contact was nearly a year ago (his choice) fast forward to now I’m with a great guy who loves my kids like his own after 7years of friendship and 3 years together we have a baby in the way and our wedding next year, my kids asked me tonight about surnames and if they will have the same name as me and the baby when we get married and I said no. They seemed upset and asked if they can have the same name as us.
My question is even tho we have a court order in place that says we can’t change their name to something else can we double barrel it? (The court order isn’t currently adhered to on his part as he doesn’t collect them which means he doesn’t have contact and he doesn’t phone them either)
