I’m just wanting to know where I stand really….

I’ve been in the private rented house I’m in since August and on the deal of no bond I had to decorate it and things (not a problem at all because would have done it anyways)

After applying for housing benefit for the first time ever they messed up and didnt pay think the firsts months rent I can’t remember why something on there behalf..

Not a problem i said I would pay it and I did!

Anyways few months downline the toilet blocked and over flowed and ringing agency was like that for a good few weeks qfter telling them my 5 year old couldn’t go longer without as we didnt have family in the area I’m in.. Finally sorted it out..

Then more problems all the garden was full of sewage, after telling them again and again they sent a plumber out who said its been like this before because the pipes under the ground has clapsed but landlord only sorted it half way and didn’t wanna pay more for the rest!

Anyways the garden still the same my 3 kids can’t even play in garden and haven’t since we moved in because its disgusting I can’t even leave my kitchen window open for the smell, the waters backed up from the shower w few times and bathrooms been flooded god knows how many times!

Anyways the council told me to stop paying my top up rent to get rhe problem sorted because its health and hygiene issue so I did (agency kept threatening if I didn’t they would serve me with a notice so paid again) but then the front door went and couldn’t lock it or even close it so was using a bar (the village I live in is high on burglary) so yet again stopped paying brcauee of the councils mistake they was saying I needed to pay 40pound a week and I did it for so long then realized I couldn’t afford that much at all the rent eas only 470 and can’t remember how much council pay but yet again threatened me with notice so I’ve told them to do it I’ve jad enough the jouse is full of mold the walls crumble, I’ve had to screw 4 windows shut because there broken..

I’ve photo evidence of everything I’ve said, the council pau my rent direct to them, now I just wanna know what should I Do?

Council have been useless even though I’ve told them and environmental health about the garden, my kids have been sick and ill loads of times since being here and I can only think of the dirty water.. Xx
