Can I have a ppp not baby related x

Basically I’m supposed to be getting married next year and for the past week all me and my partner have been doing is arguing over money everytime i put money into the jar it’s gone because he’s said we’d run out of crips and chocolate basically sh**!! He says I’m going over board with how much I want to spend on our big day and it’s ridiculous he’s not interested In anything to do with the wedding and when ever I bring it up he just goes on about the cost! We had a huge argument yesterday which ruined Christmas for me 😞 I was so sure he was the man I wanted to marry Etc but now I’m so unsure I’m honestly thinking of calling the whole thing off but he said im being ridiculous!! I feel so stressed about everything and he just isn’t fazed.. how can I get him more involved and see that it doesn’t matter about bow much it’s costing I only want to do it the once!! Xx

  • I’d say you need to sit down and discuss what exactly you’re spending money on for the wedding and discuss together the things you want. Men can feel a bit left out as it’s generally the woman’s day, men tend to let women get on with it because they are the ones with all the ideas but maybe he’s worried about how much it’s costing but doesn’t want to say anything because it’s your dream and he doesn’t want to let you down.
Me and my husband got married abroad (Mauritius) with just our daughter and the whole 10 days all inclusive with wedding, photographer, dress etc was around £5,500. We had no guests though but was perfect for us.
