Can I have a PPP? Social services question.. If someone made a report against another person and asked to be anonymous, is this confidentiality upheld if the reported were to request a UNOCINI (case file type thing in Northern Ireland). My SIL had anonymously reported us on many occasions and only once did we request a UNOCINI, she did say that she didn’t want us to know it was her but on the report it named the caller, the time of the call and the number phoned from.. Are SS allowed to do this or is it a breach of confidentiality? We are wanting to request previous files just to keep for records incase she was to try pull anything, will they include her name etc too? Or was it ony because we told the social worker we knew it was her doing it? Thanks!

I’m in England my daughters dad And his mum made a malicious report to social services on me after I had an argument with him. I did a freedom of information request to obtain the report. I knew who had done the report as it was his mum who actually done it and she gave her name. I specifically asked for her report and used her name. When I got it her name was left in it as obviously I was already aware but her number and such was redacted. She made two reports on the same day one being anonymous, so there wasn’t any details on it. Most of the time they have to redact the persons details unless you actually know who has done it. X
