Can I have a private post please. I had my daughter 3 weeks ago today & I had to have stitches.. and was told by one person to wait 3 weeks before sexual intercourse and told 6-8 weeks off another person ? My partner wanted sex 2 nights ago but I just felt really scared to do anything (using protection of course) but I felt uncomfortable he only considered it we didn’t actually do anything but did anyone else feel scared of splitting there stitches, how long did you actually wait & did it hurt!? X

I had stitches and done it the night I got home from hospital I didn’t feel any different
I don’t think there’s a specific time after 3 weeks, it.is literally when you feel ready. Don’t put pressure on yourself. You’ve just had a baby and that puts immense pressure on your body and emotions. Take your time and I’m sure your other half will understand. You will know when the time is right xx
I googled it and it says when your ready but after the bleeding has stopped because of the injury healing on your womb but basically anywhere btw 3-6 weeks as long as your comfortable with it like I said I waited 4 weeks and it was fine maybe wait another week to be on the safe side x
I had stitches and made my partner wait about 12 weeks after having my son because I was so scared and kept thinking my stitches haven’t gone away yet. I think it just depends on you and your body, don’t feel pressured into doing anything you don’t feel comfortable doing xx
I waited till 6 weeks , it was still very sore, if you were to have sex just make sure he’s been super gentle especially when entering xx

Afta 3 wks. Be careful ur stitches are healed tho mine hadnt til bout 6-8wk.
They do say wait 6-8 weeks but whenever your ready really xx
I had stitches with my first born, healed quickly within a week to two. But waited about 12 weeks. It was uncomfortable but bearable x
They say 6 weeks to let your body heal.
