I Need To Rant!
My husband sometimes picks and chooses rules of the house hold. Like last week my son was ill and he said “when your sick you should spend it in bed” so I was sat with our boy for days in the bedroom. When he gets ill he goes to bed or curls up on one of the sofa’s. BUT!! I get ill, oh yeah mummy get ill and I’m not loud to go to bed, I can’t curl up on a sofa with a blanket! Then he wonders why I’ve been in a foul mood! I might have flu so moving hurts, my head kills but oh no! Just cause he don’t like washing up and I can wear a top, jumper, dressing gown and have the heating up I still can get up and do it!
I get that being a parent don’t stop me I won’t refuse keeping an eye on our boy if my husband had to do chores but nope. Mum is the exception purely cause he can’t run the house without me! Who knows what would happen if I get seriously ill and ended up in hospital!
Please tell me I’m not alone.

definately not, but i must admit i fell asleep earlier before school run and he went to pick up our girls but yh housework etc he moans if i say im ill,but if he is ill needs sympathy lol man thing i think
Ignore him and do what you feel like doing.. All the chores will be there tomorrow, have an early night get some rest im sure theres more than one bowl. Its ok have a movie day tomorrow on the sofa with your boy x
He will just have to cope you can still be a parent to your boy however not a maid . A house works as a team excerise or not at all.
I’d rip his head off… But I’m a single mam so I’ve to do it meself anyways… But if I had someone there i’d expect a hand…
