Private post please, i got a letter saying that somebody has told the tax ppl that im not a single mum, which is a lie. So they stoped my work and child tax credit and asked for my bank statements. I sent them all of that and last week got a bulk payment of 658, this week i got nothing so i called them and they said its because they decided to suspend my account and i will be getting a letter as to why. Im just a bit confused and worried as to what has happened and need reasurance while i wait for the letter. Has this happened to anyone before? Why would they find me innocent last week and pay me everything they have missed the last few weeks but change there mind?
