Can I have a private post please. (Anonymous)
My 18 month old baby has been poorly for the last week and a bit. She hasn’t ate for 9days straight. She was drinking fine up until about 2 days ago, now she is only having about 2 cups a day. Her normal is about 6 cups a day. Anyways I took her to the hospital at the weekend. Seen one doctor and he said there was a wheeze on her chest, 2nd doctor came in 2 hours later and said there was nothing even tho I could feel it and hear it. Tried to tell me it was her heartbeat which obviously it wasn’t because I know the bloody difference!! Also they said they weren’t concerned about her not eating as she was drinking plenty but now she is now……Anyways now a few days later she is a little better and a bit more herself but is sleeping all the time (which is not like her what so ever!) and her cough is horrendous (still has the wheeze and crackle also) if I take her to the doctors will they do anything for her Cos it’s obvious she’s in discomfort with it but I have a feeling they will ‘viral’ as per usual. Any tips or advice are welcome please.
