Can I have a private post please? Basically me and my ex were together 8 months, everything moved so quick and we ended up splitting up due to always bickering. 2 days after we split up I found out I was pregnant, he’s not happy but wants to be involved. We both have other children mine is 7, their dad isn’t around. His child is 3 and wasn’t with her mother. Anyway since we split up he’s been out every weekend, having a great time because he’s moved on. I’ve moved on too and I’m at a stage where I can have s normal conversation with him like I would with a friend but he can’t do that. Anyway my worry is that in October when I give birth will it change things? My mum was my birthing partner last time and he wasn’t at the birth of his daughter (didn’t know if he was the dad), he wants to be there when I give birth but I’ve never been through this before with my child’s dad. People keep saying to me that him watching me give birth will change how he feels about me (he doesn’t care less atm), I don’t really want us to be together atm but then the other half of me wants it to work out. Any advice please or hoe things were if your ex watched your I’ve birth? Thanks I just feel very apprehensive about it x
