Nbr but my and my oh have been together almost 4 years and I always assumed we would eventually get married. I’ve got 2 from a previous but we’ve also got our little one. When he was born we used my oh surname as I assumed I would end up having the same name but when it came up in conversation he started by saying it’s not really his thing which caused arguments mainly coz I was hurt but then he changed it to well maybe if we have 10k saved so we can afford to pay for it but I’m never going to save that much but if I have things I need to pay for I always make it work. I know it sounds silly but I always had a dream wedding planned in my head from when I was a little girl so it just hurts, I guess my real question is am I being good silly and just deal with the difference names?
