can i have a private post please.
Can any moms with depression please help. Ive been depressed since about the age of 12 im now 25 ive always avoided any kind of medication for it as i never wanted to fully accept i had it until i suffered sevre post natal depression with my first son , luckily i didnt suffer from it when i had my second son 16 months later however im at a point now where i feel i do need to do something about it as i dont want my children growing up seeing me this way. my question is probably stupid but my boys are 20 months and 3 months will drs be concerned for my children or will i be monitored as a mother if i ask to be put on antidepressants? im no danger to anyone and not suicidal its just to the point where i dont see a point in looking after myself and im constantly snapping and irritable but then feel like crying. sorry for long post just dont want to risk seeking medical help if it means people thinking i cant cope as a mom. x
