Can i have a private post please.
Has anyone had social work involvement due to mental health? I was in a mother and baby unit psych ward for 4 months with my baby and I took an overdose whilst I was there and almost died. Now social work are involved and they said they’re doing a 10 day assessment and gathering info to see if my children need to go on the child protection register. I am so scared. Im not even allowed to be on my own with my own children because they say I’m a risk even though I am feeling much better now that I have the right medication etc. I’m scared they will take the children away even though they said that isn’t their aim. I am doing everything I possibly can to show I am getting better but it still isn’t good enough 😓. We have a nice home, the kids are always clean and dress well and they have tons of love.
