Can I have a private post please.
Hey ladies. Me again lol. I had social services involved due to my son’s dad. Was never anything to do with me. Anyway they’ve found out he used to physically and mentally abuse me. Child’s dad is in prison now for gbh with intent. An we’ve split up. Anyway my social worker has contacted women’s aid and asked them to be in touch with me. I’m just wondering has anybody ever been in touch with them? What do they do etc.

They may suggest the freedom programme which I’ve heard is great, they will just work with you and your children if needed to help you process the abuse etc x
I’ve still got my worker,they do a support plan if theres anything you need help with or just need to talk to someone,they also run courses etc x
