can I have a private post please?

Hi ladies just after a bit of advice really, I’ve been with my oh 10 years and have a 2 year old together, a few months back a found messages on his phone (I know I shouldn’t have went through his phone but I just had a gut feeling that evening) from a woman he works with discussing meeting up the evening before saying things neither or them should have been saying! anyway I confronted him and he completely denied it, he was out the previous evening however told me he was at a party. The thing is the woman is more than double his age and is actually older than his mum! his excuse was that he didn’t know how to tell her to stop so he thought by standing her up she would get the message. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but now I feel so paranoid and I don’t know what to do. We have always trusted each other 100% and I have no idea what made me go through his phone in the 1st place! (1st time in 10 years!) has anyone else gone through this and been able to get past it? it’s the 1st time anything like this has happened x
