Can I have a private post please:

I have a son 2 1/2 yrs-
5 months ago me and my ex split up he owned his house so I’ve had to leave with nothing moved back to my mums eventually got a flat and moved in few weeks ago. I’m looking for advice on money, we have a solicitor and he promised every Friday he would pay £50 to my account, he did this twice. My solicitor has found out he has to pay me £73 a week instead of £50. He’s still refusing to pay any and just don’t know whether to go through the child maintenance or what? He is always promising saying he will transfer the £50 then comes Friday and he doesn’t??
What would other mums do? X
