Can I have a private post please I have family on here who have an issue with what I’m about to say?
I had a baby literally 3 days ago and I’m just feeling really down and very sore, it was a very long labour and was pretty traumatic. We’ve got home and have been hounded by visitors, and messages from people wanting to visit, which obviously I can understand the excitement of course, but my other halves parents show up without any notice, really late at night when I’m settling little one and when everyone’s getting ready for bed and honestly I just want to relax at home with my baby for a few days without the worry of people showing up without any notice? Am I wrong for wanting to ask for a few days where we get left alone to adjust, Or atleast a message to ask if it is ok to come over especially when so late? Or am I just being silly? Sorry😩

No your not been silly. Its plain rude for people to turn up uninvited and id nip it in the bud before it happens daily. Ignore the door and close the curtains and enjoy your new baby, recover and rest x
No totally you are right to want some time alone without visitors. you should tell them to come in mornings or early afternoon
