Can I have a private post please: I’m currently going through a miscarriage at 12 weeks. I started bleeding on Tuesday 25th April, had a scan the next day where we were told baby’s heart had stopped beating at around 9 weeks 😔 The hospital gave me the option of having medication, operation or to wait 2 weeks and see if things progress naturally in the hope my body passes everything without any medical intervention. Feeling so heartbroken i just wanted to go home so I opted for the natural method. On the Wednesday evening I had 2-3 hours of horrendous contractions just like being in early labour and lost a lot of blood, but I only passed 2 dark red clots (looked like lumps of liver) which I assumed were womb lining. Since then I’ve just been bleeding normally like a usual period with no bad pains. Has anyone else gone through similar and did you get another episode of contractions and pass the remaining tissues? I’m scared to leave the house in case it starts up again. The hospital are scanning me again on 10th May to see if I’ve passed everything but at this stage I really don’t think I have.

Hi this happened to me, and after the horrendous contractions it did calm down, but still go and get checked out, just incase there is anything still In There, I’m so sorry, it’s just horrific isn’t it, sending you lots of love x x
So sorry to hear this, the same thing happened to me I opted to pass naturally, unfortunately my body didn’t pass it all and I ended up having the EPRC 😔 hopefully you can get over this xx
