Can I have a private post please? I’m getting to the end of my tether. Basically I left my partner because he cheated, 3 days later I found out I was pregnant. He told his mum, dad & sister the news (queue claims that I trapped him), not one of them got in touch with me instead they blocked my number. They’ve told my ex they want to see the baby but they’ll be having nothing to do with me at all and will be treating his other child’s mother differently because they like her and don’t like m (they never had a problem with me when we were together) . His brother is having a baby too and they’re over the moon with that, buying things etc. It’s been three months now and I’ve still not heard off them, not even a simple message asking if there’s anything I need. I have a baby shower planned by my sister in 2 months time and I’m going to send his mum and sister etc an invitation anyway regardless of how they’re being. When the baby’s here they’ve said they won’t visit the baby if I’m around or be coming to my house. I’ve tried to stay calm but now I think why should I cater to what they want, hand the baby over when not once in my pregnancy have they been in touch. I just want other people’s opinions on what they would do. My ex is going to be involved anyway I’d never stop him I’m not like that but it’s his family who have done nothing but stress me out and ruin the first 4 months of my pregnancy x

Just leave them too it. I left my ex while I was pregnant and his family didn’t care at all. I’m much happier now they don’t have involvement because it was added stress. Don’t bother with inviting them to anything, when you go to scans it’s up to you if you want him to go or you could just text him to say alls okay with baby. You can message me if you like as I went through similar x
Sounds like ur ex has made up some sort of lies to make u out to be the bad guy (lady in ur case). How on earth did u trap him if u left him that doesn’t make sense. I won’t even bother with them
I would tell them to do one end of day that child is part of you aswell as his they should treat you with respect x
