Can I have a private post please. I’m just wondering if anyone has been induced for SPD? I’m really struggling im on crutches and I’m taking codeine but nothing works im in so much pain, my midwife has referred me to a consultant to discuss induction but she said it’s down to him/her if they will or not.. I’ll be 37 weeks when I have my appt if they do induce me will they induce me at that appt or ask me to come back? Also how many of you was induced due to it? I’m hoping the consultant will agree to inducing early x

I was the same and they refused to induce me until I was atleast 10 days over, but prefer 12 days over due date. I just struggled on, with two older kids at home too. They were not help what’s so ever, funny how someone else can dictate what you can and can’t do with your own body x
Hi huni, sorry you are experiencing spd. It’s horrible. Most consultants won’t induce you due to spd. And if they did they would probably only do it after 39 weeks. X
