Can I have a private post please?.
Is it possible for my Husband to adopt my 14 and 16 year old children?. I’m not sure if they are too old now, and would appreciate advice from someone who has experience in this. Thanks.

Permission from paternal Father isn’t an issue. I’m just wanting to know if it can be done, since they are older children. Essentially, is there a cut off point in regards to the age of the children?.

Certain you need letter from father of children if under 16 for permission…
If not then you can change their name through deed poll into his surname x
I believe the cut off is 18
