Can I have a private post please. I’ve been with my partner 3 years and we have two kids. He used to help in the beginning of the relationship but now does nothing. He works night from 5-1am so he doesn’t get up in the morning which is fair enough, but even on his days off he doesn’t get up with the kids. I literally do everything. I wake up with the kids until he finally wakes up around 10 but even then it takes me 20 mins to wake him up because he just doesn’t want to get up. I put the kids to bed, I bath them, I do the washing and the housework. I’m so fed up and considering leaving him. Last year I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and suffer badly with it so I’m not sure how I’ll be able to cope on my own without help. I brought it up to him this morning that I wasn’t happy and that when my best friend was here she took on his role and helped with everything and he snapped and said why don’t I be with her. I’m so upset by what he said. What should I do?

It sounds like you’re already doing it all on your own. You’re stronger than you think.
If you’ve tried speaking to him and he doesn’t see that he’s doing wrong then it’s very unlikely he will change.
You need to do what’s best for you.
