Can i have a private post please? Ive been with my partner for 6 years and i think ive fallen out of love with him. We have 2 children together and i dont know what to do. I feel absolutely horrendous for even feeling this way as he is the best dad ever and the nicest person ever but i cant help how i feel. Has anyone ever been in this situation? What did you do and how did you handle it?

Yes. I spoke multiple times to him explained how i felt this went on for 2 years nothing changed in the end i ended it. It was very hard we have 3 children together at first their were alot of emotions involved and we argued terribly but over a year on we have both moved on with new people both happier and we actually get along really well as friends which is so much better for our children! It was the hardest decision I ever made but im glad i did now. Sometimes the spark just goes and whats left behind isnt enough to sustain a happy healthy relationship x
I have not been through this myself. But just offering help and advice, is there anyway of sitting down together and talking about this? If he wants it to work, he will try his damn hardest to do anything to keep you. So maybe sit down, tell him everything. And suggest starting over? Going on dates? Falling back in love with him? Anything is worth a shot?? X
If you don’t love him anymore then leave him so that he could find someone that will love him. No point being with someone when you don’t love them because if you don’t love him you’ll start to look at other men and if you were to cheat on him that would destroy him, he might not stay the nicest bloke ever because you’ve broken him.
