Can i have a Private post please?
Ive just had a scan (28+6) and been told baby is measuring big and hes on the top line.. she said ive got to see the consultant in 4 weeks to check hes staying on the line but he would be 9lb or bigger :/
Has anyone else had this if so what happened?
Was baby really that big, was you induced/c sectioned early? Thanks x

My son was measuring 4 weeks ahead, they let me go over with him. Had constant growth scans. I ended up having an emergency c section after 17 hours of labour, he was 12lb 8oz 9 days late x
I measured over with my eldest and they didn’t do anything just said he was going to be a big baby. I went 14 days over and he was 8lb 10.5 oz. My youngest I measured spot on went 12 days over and she was 9lb 3.5 oz. Personally I wouldn’t worry too much.
I’m same as you, nine is above the line and then she told me I needed a scan asap. I’ve been on standby yesterday and today for a cancellation, I’m in tomorrow for a scan to check him out.
She has booked me another scan In 4 weeks and another at 36 weeks
I was measuring big from 20 weeks. I had lots of scans. At 38+1 A scan estimated 9lb 2oz. They offered to schedule me a c section for 39 weeks.
At 38+3 my waters broke and my boy was born by c section weighing 9lb 6oz. Xx
A scan at 28 weeks with my daughter showed she was weighing 3lbs, then at 32 weeks she was apparently 6lbs. Had her at exactly 39 weeks and she weighed 7lbs 2oz, I honestly wouldn’t worry. Growth scans are never right.
I wasn’t ever given growth scans even though measuring 3 weeks ahead. Has natural birth and she was 10lb 13. No stitches or problems
I measured 4 weeks ahead, it evened out by 34 weeks, had him a day before due date weighing 8.7, my sister was measuring bigger and ended up with a c-section so it depends really
I was measuring on the top line with my little girl and she was 9lb 5 and a half and I was induced with her had her at 42 weeks I’m now 30 weeks pregnant today with my second baby a little and he’s measuring on the top line I have to have a growth scan at 32 weeks and I will be seeing my consultant straight after I think that’s because I’m on the large side myself but I had my little girl naturally xx
I was told I was having a 9lb or bigger baby she arrived 2 days early weighing 8lb 6. I wouldn’t worry about it x
I was measuring 3 weeks ahead with my first they told me shed be over 9lb but when it came to it she was 8.6lb they can never be 100% accurate good luck x
