Can I have a private post please.
Me and my OH have been in a relationship since my little one was 7 months old (he’s nearly 6). He didn’t see his biological dad and no effort was made for his own reasons. Sadly he passed away when my little one was 2, he doesn’t know much about it yet as he’s still too young to understand and i dont feel hes mature enough just yet but has a memory box hidden that I will show him when the time is right. I may be slated for this but we have been looking at my OH adopting him. He’s brought him up all his life and they both adore each other, we’ve also had another child together. He’s had no contact with his biological dad’s side and doesn’t see any of them, he’s not on the birth certificate either. Just don’t know Wether it’s a right thing to do and all I can feel is guilt right now even thou he wasn’t really there anyway. No nasty comments please. X
