Can I have a private post please!!

My now ex partner attacked me in front of our 4 year old daughter. I believe that I’m lucky to get myself and my 3 kids out and to safety! I really did not want to report him for my kids sake but I was really scared for my life! He is currently in police custody and wont be allowed to come near us any time soon! I’m just worried that when he is realised he will come back to our house as he has no one in this area! I’m also worried as the police man said Social Services would be told and now I’m scared they will take my kids because of what my daughter saw!!! He said that wont happen and don’t be scared as people make them out to be bad but there not! I’ve read so many stories of them being involved and taking peoples kids that I’m getting myself in a state!! I just don’t know what to do!!
